Growing up...too fast!

Tall Girl is big enough now to start mowing the lawn. They are both at an age that we've been giving them more responsibilities. They are doing pretty good with it (most of the time, lol!).

Today she offered to mow the lawn (she wanted to earn her ipod back and was trying to find ways to help out). This was her first time actually mowing. She has driven the mower before when we're working around the place. I mowed a few areas first so that she wouldn't need to worry about them (around the gas meter, telephone poles which are near the ditch, etc).

I showed her how to start that thing up and she was off. She did manage to get most of the yard done in a pretty good manner. It was funny to watch at times, but she did a really good job.
We made sure she wore ear plugs as well. Of course you don't have to worry about her forgeting them. She hates loud noises. Even plugs her ears at the movie theater...
