Supposedly this is how we'll improve the education of our children...more time in school...how about reduce classroom sizes, tailor an education for each child, cut all the rediculous teaching to the standardized testing, bring back arts/music programs and a good recess for those young ones, more hands on work for children too. Kids need time outdoors to play and discover. Making them sit longer inside is just going to push more behavior issues; not that we don't have enough already...man I'm glad that I am able to homeschool our children...
