We left Nauvoo, IL and headed on out to Cleveland. It was a good drive, but the longest one that we were going to do in one day, 9 1/2 hours. We only stopped for gas and some food. While in Cleveland, I had planned some things to do with the kids. Steve and I took them to the Great Lakes Science Museum. It was full of some wonderful hands-on exhibits about sound waves, electicity, momentum, light, etc. We all got to learn a lot of different things. I'm sure that the kids could have spent all day in there!
The kids spun themselves around on this platform. It was funny watching them hang on just spinning away...

Our builder. He loved these blocks. I had a hard time imagining what I could do with them while I was at the table trying to come up with a design, but he had nooooo problem. He is constantly building things at home with his lego's.
Steve had to take them downtown to get a hotdog from a street vendor. Oh my were they sooo good! I wish we could have gone back for another, but we just ran out of time.
