The aftermath...

Dr. Mark, our dentist (whom the kids love), had high praises for J. during his teeth removal. I didn't even hear one little peep from him while he was back there. The teeth removed were a good 3/4 of an inch long! He did get his chocolate shake though as I had promised and Dr. Mark totally agreed with! LOL. Here he is in his toothless glory!

He says that he looks funny in that picture...he kept trying to make all sorts of funny faces when I was attempting to get a snapshot that he requested I take. He wants me to put it in his scrapbook...I'm not so sure it'll make it in there, LOL!

Teeth...

Poor J. He just didn't get the luck of the draw on good teeth. Two cavities and now he has to go in for some tooth pulling. Let's just say he isn't too thrilled....he has two of his permanents grow in pretty far back behind the baby teeth that he did manage to wiggle free and pull himself. We want to prevent that from happening again and so the appointment was made to pull the others. Braces will be coming in the not so distant future. The mentioning of them to him brings on a rolling of the eyes and a scowl. Poor kid...he got stuck with my teeth! It doesn't help any that Britney has quite nice teeth and mentions it every time we head to the dentist!

He has been promised an ice cream shake of choice when he is finished so he is somewhat 'happier' about it all.
